Free admission to cultural sites today Do you remember from last month that on the First Wednesday of every month admission to all OPW managed sites is free. Today is the last opportunity this year and we have to wait and see if the idea is continued next year. In Dublin Dublin Castle and Kilmainham Gaol are free and in the Greater Dublin area (at a stretch) also the Glendalough visitor centre and access to Newgrange are free.
