Freedom Unlimited. Cold Winter time is back again, good for planning the next years Harley Tour. Some years ago, we did a magic ride from Vancouver to Sturgis, SD, After attending the HD event, we went on via Salt Lake City to Las Vegas. Via Death Valley (see photo) we rode on to SF, California and via Seattle back to Vancouver, for shipping our bikes back out to Holland. My good old Harley EVO FXST 1985 never let me down in all those years of faraway travelling, but here in Death Valley a little gremlin got into a minuscule coil of my ignition in the cone. It took 3 days of intermittent run and stop before we found out. But such experience adds so much flavor to the great adventure of riding 6000 miles in barely 20 days in USA/ Canada, what a God Gift!. With my friends now discussing the option to go next year from Vancouver to Alaska/ Yukon via the Alaska Highway nr 1. Rode it in a car some years back, that was an awesome ride and should be repeated on the Harleys in August 2015. Stopovers planned in Whitehorse, Haines, Tok, Palmer, Fairbanks etc All serious further tips, clues, questions and stories welcome.
