#FridayFactoids I started gardening at home with my dad and family by age 10. By the time I was 13, yard work was my means of making money. My first real employment job at 15 1/2 yrs old was as a landscape maintenance worker. (Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek Ca) m.yelp/biz/broadway-plaza-shopping-center-walnut-creek I began taking horticulture classes, seminars and other landscape and gardening workshops from 1995 till 2010 and didnt become a licensed landscape contractor till 2008 because I needed to be licensed in order to host television shows for DIY Network. Landscaping has been and continues to be my life, my love, my hobby and my livelihood.
