Friends - I need your help. Im producing an online auction for brain tumor research which goes live tomorrow. As you may know, I was devastated when Mindy Monaco Mastrine was diagnosed with having two primary brain tumors in 2012. I was shocked at how little funding brain tumor research receives each year even though it’s the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children under age 20 and in males ages 20-39. Fortunately she is doing great but the tumors will eventually start growing again. As a husband and father, I cannot just idly sit back, wait and hope. So for the past 8 months I’ve taken it upon myself to reach out to all of my music friends and colleagues to put together something that hasn’t been done for brain tumor research - an online auction featuring concert tickets and signed merchandise from almost all genres.
