Friends, CITE Technical Institute is organizing a “dedicated” relief campaign for the 103 students and 6 staffers of CITE and their families coming from Northern Cebu, Leyte, Samar and Camotes. As you know particularly, these students rely on the allowances from their parents who are directly affected by the Typhoon Haiyan. It is obvious that the students could not get appropriate financial help from the parents who are now struggling for food, water, medicine and shelter. Their situation could last for few weeks. You know very well the economic backgrounds of our students, they need help more than before. CITE faculty has started to provide food assistance and boarding house rent facility/ arrangements for the affected students but the effort from within are simply not enough. CITE is therefore asking you our alumni, parents, grantors and partner companies. The CITE-Rotary Center, located across Gate 3 of MEPZ 1 is open for your donations until Saturday. Cash deposits can be coursed through the following account: 00066-000803-8 (Unionbank). You can also drop cash or kind in CITE Brgy San Jose campus. Alumni groups from within the country and abroad could directly contact Sir Allan Munez and Sir Don Go. In solidarity with those in need, we remain.
