Friends: an update on my precious mother... Her surgery was more involved than expected. She had some hemorrhaging on the right front lobe of her brain. The surgeon found exactly what he expected: brain swelling and healthy brain tissue. He removed approximately 85% of the hemorrhage/clot and was able to replace the skull and sewed her up at the hairline. Shes currently in ICU heavily sedated for the night to control her blood pressure/oxygen/pulse. Theyll attempt to bring her out of her sedation sometime tomorrow. Now we wait to see how she will respond. Each person - understandably - responds different so the surgeon wasnt about to speculate on her speech and/or movement/functionality of the left side of her body. Continuous prayers are requested (and needed) for her, her hubby ( Garvin Cox), my baby brother Derek Galier, his bride - Susan Pendergraf Galier and of course myself, Mark Bailey, Zachery Bailey and Crow (or known to most of you as Conner Bailey).
