Friends, during the campaign for Texas Land Commissioner, I spoken often about the unfortunate efforts underway to close Rollover Pass - a wonderful fishing spot on Bolivar Peninsula that has been enjoyed by Texans for 60 years. There are two key things I would ask you to keep in mind: (1) Rollover Pass is private land. It does not belong to Texas. (2) The GLO is working with Galveston County to use eminent domain to seize this private land and close it forever. Take a moment and join their group (linked below) and help the good folks down at Rollover Pass stand up against government abuse of eminent domain.
