Friends of Reid Park has now been approached by TWO drone service providers, for the purpose of making a video for the Expand Reid Park campaign. During some brainstorming sessions, one of the two providers, James Tank Christensen came up with a BRILLIANT idea for how we take this concept to the next level. I was talking about getting a few hundred to a few thousand plus people to spell out certain words or images in the 300 acres worth of grass fields that we are looking to transform into a signature park, from a drone aerial view, when he sends me the following video: https://youtube/watch?v=u1ZB_rGFyeU&feature=youtu.be And he says, What if we brought in the dance community, yoga community, martial arts community, fire dancing community, mariachi community, etc. and did something more like this? I think it is BRILLIANT! Guess who Im writing a letter to, to see if they might be interested in creating a joint music video with our campaign to Expand Reid Park?!?!?!? We would have 480 acres of land, 36 holes worth of green grass as background, the current park itself, the tennis courts, and baseball fields... lots of possibilities, for both day and night time shoots! Im REALLY excited! If you were to add some ideas to that campaign video, what would it be?
