From 20th November 2014 that is one month, twenty seven political prisoners are on hunger strike in Urmiye’s central prison. These prisoners have been sentenced because of their political views and a number of them awaiting for their death execution. The reasons for this hunger strike are for denial of them being political prisoners by the Iranian authorities, transferring them to the dangers criminal wards and also the sentence of death execution for political prisoners. Their situation deteriorates day by day and several of them have already transferred to hospital; yet they still insist to continue with their strike. The authorities not only considered the prisoners’ request, they are also keep them under pressure in various ways. Therefore, a humanitarian disaster is on the way, we request each individual to break the silent and do their responsibility as their demands are legitimate and in lines with human right laws. The Iranian authorities take advantages of the silent and dis-attention of the international community and they put more pressure on political prisoners. We urge you to break silent and become the voice of these prisoners as their demands are legitimate and for basic human rights. Bu siyasi mahkumlar inançları ve siyasi yaklaşımlarından dolayı cezaevinde tutulmaktalar bunlardan bazıları idam cezası almış mahkumlardır. Bu mahkumların açlık grevine girme sebebi ceza evi sorumlusunun onları, başka koğuslardaki tehlikeli suçlardan ceza almış mahkumların koğuşlarina konulup aynı yarde tutulmalarıdır. Aynı zamanda siyasetten yargılanan mahkumların idam cezasına çarptırılmasına karşı çıkmalarıdır. Açlık grevindeki mahkumların sağlık durumları gun geçtikçe kötüye gidiyor ve hastahaneye kaldırılıyorlar.ama grevi devam ettirmekte ısrarcılar. Iran Islam Cumhuriyeti sorumluları bu mahkumların istekleeini cevapsız birakmakla kalmayıp onları daha da zor duruma sokuyorlar.
