To: RCMP From: Justice for Dana Bradley. You have now floated the issue of cost as an excuse to delay or prevent the digging up of the vehicle. (see VOCM story below) and you have also seen the response. Justice has no cost - Dig Up The Car!! Break it down boys and girls in the scarlet jackets. There are 3 phases: (1) excavate the vehicle(s) - (a) Free excavator,(b) free flat bed to deliver car to secure area, (c) free secure area to examine car ,(d) normal police presence at forensic dig. Total extra cost to RCMP = $0.00. (2) Forensic investigation of vehicle(s) manpower only needed. Costs are the normal salary of police technicians. (extra cost to RCMP $0.00) (3) Analysis of collected evidence. Lab costs can indeed be expensive but do not RCMP maintain their own forensic lab in Canada? If so the cost is just the daily cost of doing business for RCMP.( extra cost $0.00) If evidence is sent to an independent lab, ( a position I support) it can be more costly, but as people on this site have stated, Its our money. deliver justice to that little girl. We wont count cost. So: (1) false memory syndrome is no longer an excuse for delay (2) Cost is no longer an excuse for delay. Are you going to continue finding excuses or are you going to do the right thing, and DIG UP THE CAR!!
