From Center for Sustainability Law In response to our event held in Eugene Tools and Tactics for Sustainable Food Systems : We were glad to be there with you all and speak about tools & tactics to move beyond Monsanto & Big Ag. Super fun to participate in the movement beyond a corporate dominated food supply chain towards a sustainable local food system for all! A lot of momentum on a local scale here in Eugene for e.g.: (1) going block by block for pesticide free zones to save the bees, Doug Hornaday (2) replacing the 4J school system food vendor from Sodexho to a local vendor with organic food, Kid Food Matters (3) educating eaters on the biotech law loopholes & supporting transition ag alternatives, Center for Sustainability Law (4) creating a GMO Free OR & upcoming GMO labeling initiative in Oregon, GMO Free Oregon (5) creating a local food bill of rights, Support Local Food Rights Please share photos and feedback if youd like!
