From Hero of Sharjah to Boom Boom Afridi Kashmirs romance with green team is an old tale ----- People of Kashmir have been doing romance with the Pakistani cricket team from so many decades, and never was this true love concealed from others, rather they cheer publicly with each six or four hit, by Pakistani batsmen. From Hero of Sharjah Javid Miandad, to Boom Boom Afridis stunning sixes Kashmiris have always admired the green team. However, recently in a Meerut university some people raised objection, and tried to subjugate the people of Kashmir, but hardly they realize that more they suppress, more strongly they will emerge against the anarchy. Kashmir is under Indian administration from so many decades, but is this not a matter of concern for India that why Kashmiris express their joyousness and jubilation when Shahid Afridi smashes the ball towards a boundary, and not only that they also reveal their happiness when Guldozer demolishes the batting line of Team India. Perhaps, passport of a Kashmiri reveals that they are Indians, but had the common Indian went ahead of his I-card and tried to look deep into the heart of a common Kashmiri then he might perceive the pain. From Konan Poshporas women to Tufail Matoos kith and kin there are thousands of families that have witnessed the trauma very closely and in search and longing for justice, they are still moving in perpetual caves of darkness. If few students have raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad merely in jubilation after watching a cricket match, annoyed the patriotic Indians and in retaliation, they have thrown them out of the college and a case of sedition was also registered against them. However, we would like to ask a simple question that why their hearts were so insensitive when yelling cries of Neelofar and Asiya bursted the sky and when Konan Poshporas girls, women and pregnant ladies fell fainted after so-called security forces teared their modesty in the dusky night.
