From THE GUARDIAN: Contrary to what many assume, an estimated 88% of animals killed by halal methods in Britain are stunned before slaughter. .... The Jewish method of slaughter called shechita cannot involve pre-slaughter stunning at all. I am posting this info, because I am bloody well SICK & TIRED of hearing people slagging off MUSLIMS over every crime on the planet. I will ALWAYS defend all peaceful and harmless practises of my Muslim brothers and sisters across the planet. I never came across a more peaceful and UNIVERSALLY loving and kind religion. Thanks especially to all my Muslim brothers and sisters who are currently doing so much great work on the streets of London, helping homeless people, whether Muslim or not. For anyone reading this, who didnt know this already, (IMHO) ISIS are NOT Muslims, any more than Tony Blair and his supporters for the #WarOFterror are CHRISTIANS! Having said all of the above, me personal wish, is to ban ALL un-stunned killing of animals, which may not satisfy our Jewish friends, but DOES I believe conform to most Muslims concept of Halal slaughter.
