From my upcoming book...Then The God showed me that I was supposed to be making disciples instead of helping build huge buildings, giving every thousand dollars I could scrape up to impress the pastor, and drumming for thousands of people. And as I dug in to Acts chapter 3, The God and what He is really all about, started to make sense. Except for the “Love,” part. As a result of that I jumped in to “disciple-making,” with everything in me. The only problem was that in me, there was nothing good. Nothing at all. So, I spent the next 10 years offending the body as only a loveless, clanging cymbal can.
