From one of our brothers in Afghanistan, an employee of Automotive Research, the pics will touch your heart: I hope that this email finds you well. I know that this is late but you can understand sometimes why that is. My 4th of July started at 0500hrs to begin a 2000ft climb to where a memorial was emplaced remembering 2 fallen comrades. The first picture was at 0600hrs right before we went into the notch of the mountain. Not a bad view and we started early because the heat comes on fast and by 1000hrs the temp is north of 105. We were back on camp by 0800hrs....I did learn that the climb was alot harder than it looked due to part of it being loose rubble from all the test firing and blasting they have done there for training. I can send you more pictures of my climb and the amazing view of the surrounding area, but I do know that file attachment size is normally limited and alot of the pics are high definition. I hope that you have a good day. Respectfully, Calvin U.S. Army(DV) Southern Afghanistan
