From sports to music to card games, heres a look at whats going on in the River City today.... SPORTS Generals take on Lumberjacks The Waynesboro Generals are at home tonight, taking on the Covington Lumberjacks in a doubleheader. The first pitch is set for 5 p.m. at Kate Collins Field, located at 1625 Ivy Street. MUSIC Hornitz at Hot Spot Musical group The Hornitz will perform tonight at The Hot Spot, located at 901 W. Broad Street, beginning at 8:30 pm. Daniels at Ridgeview Rock ‘n Ridgeview starts tonight, with musician Bootsie Daniels performing from 6 to 8 p.m. Ridgeview Park is located at 700 South Magnolia Avenue. ACTIVITIES Farmers Market open today The Waynesboro Farmers Market is open today from 2:30 to 6 p.m. at the Constitution Park Pavilion downtown by the river. Local farm fresh vegetables and berries will be available today. Mother Goose Time The Waynesboro Public Library will hold an interactive program for children, beginning at 9:30 a.m., featuring songs, finger-plays, books, movements and nursery rhymes. The event is for children up to 2 years old and their caregivers. Story time held The Waynesboro Public Library will feature Story Time, beginning at 10:30 am. The event includes books, stories, songs, puppets, flannel board activities and crafts for children up to 5 years old. Cards Against Humanity at E & Js E & J’s Deli Pub, will host their weekly competition of the game Cards Against Humanity, beginning at 8 p.m. Each week a different theme is selected for the game and the winning group takes away a gift certificate. The restaurant is located at 2800 West Main Street. MUSEUMS Exhibits up at Heritage Museum The Withrows: Their Lives, Their Times, Their Homes is currently the featured exhibit at the Waynesboro Heritage Museum, 420 W. Main Street.
