We need more members that can respond in the day time. At present we only have 2 people in town in the day time, and if those 2 people are out of town then it’s a long wait for Taumarunui to arrive. This could be a matter of life or death or extreme loss to property in the event of a fire or medical emergency. Being a member doesn’t require much effort, a couple of hours each fortnight, of your time. We provide medical assistance – first responding and fire assistance. This is a valuable resource that is under threat of closure unless we get more members. If we lose it we won’t get it back. Anyone that is interested please contact Shane Read at the Club ASAP. CLUB MEMBERSHIP There are only 2 weeks to go to have your sub paid before the 31st August. Get in now and avoid paying extra! OHURA SHOW MEETINGS & AGM The next Show Meeting is on Tuesday 10th September at 7pm at Fran and Murray Gibson’s house. (1km from Showground’s towards Ohura at the bottom of the hill) The AGM is on Thursday 14th October 7pm at the Niho Niho Showground’s. The show needs a new Secretary/Treasurer.
