GB Game Provisionally Cancelled It is with regret that I have to inform you that the U18 game WP vs. Great Britain has been cancelled provisionally. I assure you that we have made every effort to find a suitable venue to host the game, but the continuous downpour and high water tables has made it impossible for us to host a game. Executive members have inspected fields across the region in the hope that we will be able to play, at this stage to no avail. The U18 team is required to meet at Athlone Athletics on Monday, 19th August at 10H00. In the event that the rain subsides sufficiently for a match to be played, the game will continue. Please arrive suitably equipped to train indoors as well as for a match. It saddens me that we are at this stage unable to treat our guests to a Western Province Baseball experience, but will show them our hospitality in any event.
