GODS OATH TO PROSPER YOU Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father (Genesis 26:3). There was a severe famine in the days of Isaac, Abrahams son. He thought of relocating due to the situation. However God told him not to leave the land, but to stay in Gerar. He told Isaac that He was going to bless him and perform the oath which He swore unto Abraham his father. What was the oath God swore to Abraham and his seed? Hebrews 6:13-14 says For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. God swore by Himself saying surely He will bless and multiply Abraham and his seed. You see, God was under oath to bless and multiply Isaac and probably Isaac forgot; so God had to remind him. We saw that Isaac stayed in the land and prospered a hundred times over within a year. Every other man in the land was poor and hungry but Isaac prospered tremendously. The circumstance could not hold Isaac down. He rose above the famine and grew until he became very great. The factor behind Isaacs prosperity in the midst of famine was of Gods oath. The oath cannot fail. No situation is strong enough to stop it from working. That is why youll always hear the Psalmist say . . . . . his mercy endureth for ever (Psalm 136:1). The word mercy here means His oath to be kind to us. His oath to be kind and prosper His people endures for ever. No man-made or demon orchestrated circumstance can stop Gods oath. It will work when you are in the fire. It will work when you are in the sea. It will work when you are in the air. Anywhere you are, His oath will not fail you. It endures forever. You are the seed of Abraham; that oath belongs to you. God swore to bless and multiply you. He said in blessing, He will bless you. In multiplication, He will multiply you. Get ready to walk in the fulfillment of Gods word. God will multiply every facet of your life. Your business will experience multiplication. Your family will experience multiplication. Your ministry will be greatly enlarged. God is under oath to bless and prosper you in this life. Psalm 89:24 says . . . . my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted. Great promotion is coming your way . Gods mercy- His oath is with you. You will prosper in the midst of the economic depressions in the world. No force can stop you, because you are sustained by the covenant keeping God. He said your going out and coming in shall be blessed. He said anything you lay your hands on shall prosper. His mercy endures for ever. Amen.
