GODWINKS AND A BULLET IS STOPPED “On Thursday night there was a shooting at FSU ... I didnt know this at the time, but THE SHOOTER TARGETED ME FIRST. He was about 5 feet from me. I HEARD THE SHOT behind me. I did not feel anything. But about 3 hours after it happened, I discovered he HIT MY BOOKS. Books I had checked out of the library, one minute earlier; books that SHOULD NOT HAVE STOPPED THE BULLET. But they did! I never thought to check my bag, assumed I wasnt a target, and that I was fine. The truth is I was ALMOST KILLED and GOD INTERVENED. I know conceptually He can do all things, but to physically witness the impossible and to be surrounded by SUCH GRACE IS INDESCRIBABLE. To God be the glory, forever and ever, Amen.” Jason Derfuss •••• Witnessing the grace and favor of God is a powerful experience for any one of us. When it happens to YOU, it becomes a LIFE ALTERING EXPERIENCE. Today Jason will no doubt go to church. He will most likely thank God over and over. And, the life saving experience on Thursday will be a major GODWINK that will affect how He serves God from this day forward.
