GOVERNMENT OF NASARAWA STATE PRESS ANNOUNCEMENT His Excellency, Umaru Tanko Al-makura, Governor of Nasarawa State has relieved the appointments of the underlisted persons as Honourable Commissioners and Members of the Nasarawa State Executive Council with immediate effect. They are: i. Innocent Lagi, Esq Honourable Attorney-General/Commissioner for Justice; ii. Mr. Angama A. Weibey Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Rural and Community Development iii. Barr. Muhammad Sani Yakubun-Hauwa Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology iv. Hon. Danladi Madaki Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources v. Hon. Adamu Mu’azu Alu Adogi Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources vi. Mr. Godwin Tyowua Mbatsav Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Sports and Youth Development vii. Mr. Samuel Nkene Meshi Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Culture and Tourism viii. Mr. Amos Bala Akawu Honourable Commissioner of Planning and Deputy Chairman, Nasarawa State Planning Commission 2. Similarly, His Excellency, the Governor has also relieved the following persons of their appointments with immediate effect: i. Sulaiman Abdul-Wahab Sulaiman Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Scholarship Board ii. Dr. Idris Abdullahi Executive Secretary, Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency iii. Mr. Daniel Ajegina Managing Director, Nasarawa Investment and Property Development Company iv. Murtala Adogi Muhammad Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Empowerment v. Iliya El-Yakubu Director of Press to the Governor 3. All affected persons are to handover the affairs of their Ministries/Agencies to their Permanent Secretaries or their immediate subordinates as the case may be on or before Tuesday, 23rd September, 2014. 4.
