Woke up Tuesday morning to read a text with some sad and disturbing news. I still cant believe that this has happen, My young rising star has fallen. Chantelle Maclean and her boyfriend was taken away from us too soon by a fatal car accident. Chantelle was one of my athletes that I trained and helped develop skill and athletic ability to become a Star in womans rugby. She was an absolute BEAST! At only 17years old she played for The Canadian womans rugby team. Always full of happiness, always had a smile on her face when she came into train But knew when to get into the zone when I asked her to switch on. Chantelle was always eager to learn and always striving to be the best. I remember her coming up to me and asked me if she could train with the boys rugby team in their dry-land session. HOLY MACK! She blew the boys away with her speed, strength and never give up attitude. I wish I could train more athletes with your determination. Such a beautiful person with a warm heart that will never be forgotten. Thank you for the great memories and laughs. Rest easy Chantelle, I know the lord has other plans for you.
