Patrizio started his trip to Cali-Colombia to paticipate in the World-Games as one of the 24 qualified Compound Archers . Guiseppe Seimandi ( Barebow ) is the other SkyArt Pro-Staff Archer participating in the World Games. We wish the both archers, as well as of course their opponents, a great competition! At SkyArt we follow the Games with an additional interest. The Karlsruhe Victory of Kevin Burri with SkyArt „--------„ ,showed clear better grouping then one can expect under un-favourable weather-conditions. Patrizio has another proto-type arrow in his luguage. For the moment we brand these SkyArt PH. Also a 5 mm OD shaft. Like Kevins proto-type ( for easy reference called SkyArt KB ), a carbon-arrow with an inside core. No, not a classic aluminium core. After all, at SkyArt » Tradition is not the Enemy of Innovation « Instead, rather a with the outside-carbon, fully integrated core of a kind which provides spine-stability all over the length of the arrow. Note : What is considered the spine of an arrow only identifies the average deflection of the shaft in the center. Using the name Carbon-arrow, brought questions to our minds to be taken care of. Statements like 100% full Carbon as often used, are misleading. There are no 100% full carbon arrow shafts and their will never be 100% full carbon arrow shafts. A concrete wall, re-inforced by steel-wire, is still a concrete wall. Talking the bulk of arrows at the market …….why should a plastic shaft, re-inforced by carbon fibers suddenly become a carbon shaft ? Is a plasic shaft with 20% carbon fiber a 100% full carbon shaft ?? As a matter of fact the SkyArt PH and KB found their origin in our disliking such misleading statement. We dislike empty statements like 100% full carbon.However, there is also a positive aspect because it gave us the answer to many questions about how in theory the optimum could be achieved. One small problem we have so far with the SkyArt PH and KB…………The trials in the Archery Centre show a significant increase in nock-consumption by Robin Hoods.
