GREAT NEWS! Thank you for your prayers...calls, and concernf or Andrews finger these past few weeks. Andrew went to the hand specialist for another follow up today. They removed the splint and for the first time in 7 weeks allowed him to hold his fingers out straight in the air. When he did, the injured finger did not droop! The doctor smiled big and said, Thats what I was hoping to see...the tendon is healing nicely! He wants the splint left on most of the day, removing it for several minutes here and there for Andrew to begin moving it slightly, bending the first joint etc. He will continue this through Thanksgiving with a couple of follow up visits and exercise the doc said by that time he should be good to go and should be able to do all that he did before:) #thankful #answeredprayer #awesome
