Game Recap: So after watching game 1 of the season the first thing that comes to mind is disappointment. For a team with playoff aspirations to take a big phat L in your home opener to a mediocre Buffalo squad with a inconsistent QB and a one trick pony offense is disheartening. The Bears suffered multiple injuries to offensive starter (Garza, Slaussen, Marshall and Jeffery). Tressmans offense was able to drive the field all game but due to penalties and turnovers came up short in the redzone 3x. I felt in the 2nd and 3rd quarters they got too cute on offense especially in short yardage situations. As for the defense, it was an absolute joke. Not one level of the defense flash enough to stop anything Buffalo did all game. Mel Tucker played nickel 70% of the game which lead to the gashes in the running game. Not to mention they have up big plays in the passing game too. This was a Bears team that spent $50mil on that defensive line and other than Willie Young I didnt know anybody even played. They bit on misdirections, bootlegs, Play Actions, zone read draws u name it. After today I dont know where you start with San Francisco coming up. I saw a cocky offense, arrogant play calling and a soft as baby shit defense. The coaches have some explaining and work to do!!!! So you tell me where they go from here? Shad Goodie
