An interesting article on the new WWF building in the UK. What is interesting? That low carbon consultants were used to ensure that the construction materials had lower embodied carbon and the initiatives to ensure the building will be energy efficient. Great to see WWF providing a working example of what can be achieved with more sustainable buildings. Most interesting are the words from Sir David Attenborough reminding us of the need to take both environmental and social action to improve the quality of life for future generations. He reiterates that we can change the trajectory of future climate change impacts by taking action now and that includes improving living standards, improving access to education and empowering women.
