Genesis - Follow you, follow me (1978) When I listen to this song, which is quite often, I think of Chris. Oh how I wish he couldve stayed with us. I think of all the times I followed him, particularly when I left my hometown of Canton & followed him to a place Id never heard of, for his job with Bob Evans. That place was Ashland..the year was 2000. Though Id never heard of Ashland, Chris made me feel so safe, so secure..like this song says. Truth is, Id have followed him anywhere. I am better for knowing Chris, like the song says. Better for the good times & the many, many years we had. Though it was pure hell watching him each day- he was sicker than the previous day, I wouldnt trade a minute of my time with that man for anything. Even though I couldnt follow him on his last journey, I was honored to be with him right up to his last second here on earth..I listen to this song & I smile & I cry..cuz Im honored to have known Chris.
