Gentleman, I want to thank everyone…because of your generosity and support Ohio Rho is back and we will begin recruiting new members again in the Spring Semester 2015. We need everyone’s continuing involvement to help ensure a successful launch of our new Phoenix Chapter. Annual Dues for our Ohio Rho Alumni Association are due again, which are $10 annually, payable to “The Ohio Rho Alumni Association” and sent to Ohio Rho Alumni Association c/o Jake Showalter, 2191 South Belvoir Blvd., University Heights, OH 44118. Those paying this year’s dues at Homecoming will get letters to wear for the parade! Speaking of which…next week is Homecoming at CWRU and we are taking part in several events. Friday night, October 17, one of our Alumni, Andy Wasynczuk will receive a Meritorious Service Award on Friday, Oct. 17, at the Dean’s Reception and ShowCASE at the Intercontinental Hotel. Andy is now a senior lecturer of business administration at Harvard Business School and spent years as chief operating officer of the New England Patriots, earning three Super Bowl rings along the way! Andy was the salary cap doctor for the Patriots, designer of Belichick’s original hoodie, and personally set up Tom Brady and Gisele on their first date….OK, some of that is an exaggeration….but you’ll have to show up on Friday Night to find out what? Saturday the 18th, we will gather at the Alumni House on Juniper Road and walk in the Homecoming Parade as the Ohio Rho Alumni. We will tailgate and hang out at the game and have a private SAE, Ohio Rho reception at 6pm at the Alumni House that night. This is an important first step in our recruitment efforts for Spring Semester…we need the undergraduates to see a strong SAE presence on campus this weekend. Several new fraternities have come to CWRU in the past two years, none of them are returning with 100 years of history and alumni support! We need to press this advantage now!
