Getting Closer to Jesus John 15 John 16 1 Corinthians 7 1 Corinthians 8 Key verses Jn. 15:5-7, 26-27 1 Cor. 7:7, 20-24 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: 27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning. 7 For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. 20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather. 22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lords freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christs servant. 23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. 24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven I declare your kingdom to come in: My life: reveal your place for me today! I pray protection over their health, finances, marriages, children and travel. Let no slander or gossip be spoken about them, only protection, edification and blessing. People I am believing to come to know Jesus (pray for specific people here). I pray for my president and his family, and the other leaders in my region. Protect them from lies and deception, and let them draw closer to you daily. I ask you for the following requests today: (list specific needs)
