Glitches... Assassins Creed: Rogue is full of glitches. Whether its a ship sinking on shore, or your characters shadow being separated from the shadow of the roof youre standing on by about two feet on the ground below you, there are some serious oversights the game testers made. We also found a pretty bad glitch on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, where he fell off a building and couldnt rejoin the fight or die, leaving me to bleed out on the battlefield. Some glitches are understandable and expected. Youre not going to catch every little programming mistake. However, for two mega franchises that put out a new game about every six months, it feels sloppy and rushed and money-driven. There really is no reason to push games out so fast, except to turn a profit because the loyal fans will stand in line for hours before midnight to pick up a copy of the latest game. However, video games like these are meant to be completely immersive experiences, and a large number of big glitches detract severely from that experience. I believe that they should slow down in production, or hire better video game testers and give them ample time to work on the game.
