Go Miyazaki, I couldnt agree more. Going off on a tangent, I just want to throw in my two cents. I dont know about you guys, but I feel like I have to sort through tons and tons of mediocre anime to find anything fantastic. I use to think I wasnt very picky when it came to anime, but Ive realized (just this past year, even) that I am INCREDIBLY picky. All the anime art nowadays just looks....the same. Its gets annoying to see everything centered around moe style. :P Giant eyes and super contrast sparkly animation...bleh. I guess I just wish I could find more series with complicated story lines and characters with unique depth. I feel like soooo many stories are just...predictable. Ya know? Anyways, thats how I feel.
