@God. Oh God. Please. Please give us the strength and leadership to end this endless cycle. All I see is a jaded public, a prime minister who has lost his way if he ever had it, and a government too disfunctional to even try to act bravely. We have lost our way. I was a child when I heard of the passing of the Jewish leader Yitzhak Rabin. I was old enough to feel a degree of sadness, but too young to understand what his death represented. We were all too young for the foresight of what the inability to forgive and to continue to strive for peace in the face of devastation would lead to. We are stuck. The Jewish people need help. Please God, please hear our cry for help. Grant us leadership of courage like that of Prime Minister Rabin, grant us partners for peace, grant us just a tiny portion of Your infinite compassion and forgiveness so that we may apply to both ourselves and our foes and move forward together as friends. 19 years and where are we? יהי זכרו ברוך, May the P.M.
