God blessed my time with Oak Creek Bible Church and the lunch afterwards today. After I preached Jakob and I stopped for lunch in League City before driving home. During the lunch I was encouraging Jakob to pursue whatever road God has for him with everything he had. I mentioned that whichever path God directed him down that it would come at a cost but that I never truly saw my savior until I got fitted for my cross. I am ready to complete what He has for me or die in the process or both. Well, our waitress overheard me speaking and began to ask questions. I asked if she had any prayer needs and she began to share several life situations for both her and her daughter. I gave her my information as well as the information to the church I had just preached at which happened to be close to where she stayed. I told her about what small groups were and how they were a good option for those who worked on Sunday mornings. We prayed for her and her family before we left. May His word be our words for we never know who is listening. Be Blessed! Btw, when you go out to eat try and make the effort to ask and remember your waiter’s name. Then address them by it throughout the meal. I can’t tell you how many times this simple act has opened the lines of communication. “A person’s name is the sweetest sound they will ever hear.”(Dale Carnegie)
