Question of the Day 11th August My partner and I split up when our son was 6 months old. We stayed on speaking terms for the sake of our son, that was two and a half years ago. My partner has recently met someone new and suddenly my son, who is now 3, no longer wants to go to stay at his dads house. I dont believe there is anything to be seriously concerned about his new partner, she has two children of her own and I briefly met her one weekend when I went to collect my son. I think it is more to do with my son no longer being the only one to stay at daddys house. How do I explain to a 3 year old that daddy has met someone new who may also stay at his house, along with her two children? He hasnt met anyone Ive dated so its never been an issue before. Has anyone else had experience like this and how did you deal with it? Thanks
