God has the whole world in His hands . Because god has the world in His hands, it means that He knows the world and they that dwell in it beyond what man can ever imagine. This is why He declares saying, ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands. Gods hands made the earth. His hands made man in His own image and likeness. He spread out the skies by His wisdom and enduring power. Invariably God is in control of this world always, particularly, as touching the issues that border on our welfare and the expansion of His kingdom. When there was a need for a powerful character in the then world to build the city of God, i.e jerusalem, and free the exiles, God raised Cyrus the Persian as His instrument of choice. He could do that because the whole world was, and is still in His hands. All these go to us that, all things are possible with God. Whatever it takes to make you and i accomplished in life as Gods children, He has the power to do it, because the whole world is in His hands. Listen to what He declares in verse 23 of Isalah45, I Have sworn by myself... That to me, every knee shall bow, this is the expression of enormous confidence in His power to enforce His authority. Let this give us confidence as we move from day to day. God is with us, and He shall cause me to succeed whatever it takes, because everything is in His hands.
