God must be testing me today. Imagine what I I saw today and I never experienced seeing a boy digging into the Walmart trash in next to the carts in the parking lot. I thought he had lost something. When I asked if he lost something he said, No, he I am looking for food. I glanced at my friend Guillermina Espinoza, when I saw him open a box of a Big Mac stuffed it into his bag and looked into the fries. I could not bare walking away. I asked him if I could told him Ill buy you food. As we walked into Walmart he spoke of why he was homeless. He told me he lost his grama a couple of months ago, he lost his job and aunt kicked him out. I asked where his parents were and he said they left to Tennessee . I told him someday he might need to help someone in need and remember to give a helping hand. He was crying and I bought his food. What surprised me he bought the least expensive meal and I asked if he wanted anything else he said no and was sobbing. As I turned around, Mina was standing behind me when I told the young man to please go to homeless shelter. He said he was and he approached me and was still crying when Mina gave him 4.00 for the bus. He pulled out the thing Catholics around their necks with a string, and he kissed it three times and hugged us with candle wax like tears. I realized god was telling me Im not a bad person and sometimes I make decisions that are painful with my children that is called tough love, but to witness how there are children in this world that truly have nothing and when a stranger gives a helping hand like we both did today is a blessing to know we have more than others . In fact, the boy giving thanks to his faith in The Lord with tears is what I call a true hidden blessing and message from the man upstairs.
