Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela - A true masterpiece by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ranveer Singh - After delivering a subtle performance in his previous flick lootera,In ram-leela he is suave & charismatic.He delivers his finest & dedicated performance,but in some places he could have done better,one of the major highlight of this film is ram-leelas chemsitry which has came out very well.On the whole he has done a commendable job. Deepika Padukone - I would like mention as Show-stealer not only that she managed to give a decent performance;picture perfect to the role and just lived the character she was more graceful with her mesmerising looks. She had a good chemistry with her co star Ranveer and in some places was brilliant in emotional scenes too.on the whole deepika has done a meritorious job. Supriya Pathak - Surprise element in this is supriya,she was extremely convincing in her role and executed it amazingly well. It was delight to watch such a powerful performance with such an ease. She was literally astounding in a negative role. Other respective characters like Richa Chadda,Sharad Kelkar,Gulshan Devaiah, Barkha Bisht ,Abhimanyu Singh etc.., all had done justice to their respective roles. Tech Crews: Cinematography by Ravi Varman - He has to deserve a standing ovation for his flawless work,visually captivating, each & every frame was like a beautiful painting.Nagada Sang Dhol feast to the eyes. Editing by Rajesh G. Pandey & Sanjay Leela Bhansali - It could have been better,they should have trimmed in few places in both first & second half length of the movie. Music by - Monty Sharma & Sanjay Leela Bhansali - Already audio has been declared as album of the year,songs were frequent on the first half and less on the second half,All songs are aptly placed and well composed, but lacks in BGscore. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali - After a sabbatical of 3 years & giving disappointing movies, particularly Saawariya and Guzaarish he is back with Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.He is one of the most artistic & aesthetic director of Bollywood.He has already quality films in his credits like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, Black and very first film Khamoshi: The Musical which is a critically acclaimed.Coming to ram-leela a fantastic film, that re-tells Shakespeares epic love story Romeo and Juliet, in a violent & intense backdrop.Most of the dialogue was neatly written, however some parts were rather meaningless (for an instance rhyming dialogues),its a typical SLB film.On the whole he proves yet again he is one of the finest filmmakers of this era. Conclusion - First and foremost is we must laud the director for giving us a feel good movie like ram-leela, we have become fed up watching so-called comedy & masala movies past 4-5 months in that few movies are exceptional like lootera etc..,coming to ram-leela,One of the most awaited movies of 2013 Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela is not so good as we expected,Plot is somehow loosely inspired from Shakespeares epic drama Romeo - Juliet love story. SLB is clever, He creates a fictional world in Gujarat - a town where arms ,bullets,high-dose of viloence etc.., but it absolutely falls to the genre of Romantic drama there is no denying it has done justice to both the genre,yet there are some minor loop holes like weak screenplay with a lengthy first half,scenes were easily predictable,major thing is climax which has turn out to be as cliche it were linked by last year cult Ishqzaade.Climax was unacceptable.,.People having second thoughts about this movie are be ready with surprise.This is nothing like a so called masala movie which often you will expect,Despite all odds SLB once again comes with Beautiful Love Story. In a word or sentence have to say means: Ram-Leela - A passionate celebration of love,Go and experience it. Rating - 3.25/5.0
