Good Evening Facebook Friends, It is with a very heavy heart and after many tears and a LOT of discussions that we have had to make the heart wrenching decision to send LOO, Ranon and Mims (two year old otters that we raised) to another facility. As much as we would truly love to keep them, we cannot be selfish; we have to think of their needs first. We just do not have the proper facilities or the funds to build the proper enclosure with the type of water feature that would be right for them. As sad as we are to see them go, we are also very excited about where they are going and feel they will be very happy and extremely well cared for in their new home. They will have their own pond and a very large enclosure and still be able to educate people all over the country about their species. The people at their new place are wonderful wild animal people and will treat them very well! We have loved every second of our time with these babies, but it is time for them to move on to where they can educate more people. Have a beautiful night all.
