Good Evening Folks! As Thanksgiving approaches, and if you (or someone you know) has procrastinated on buying a turkey for this Thursday, we do have some turkeys left. The turkeys we are carrying are the Redbird turkeys out of Colorado. These turkeys are antibiotic free, steroid free, cage free, and (importantly) humanely raised. You can check out Redbirds website at redbirdfarms. I only have sizes 16-18 lb., 18-20 lb., & also 20-24 lb. still available. Phones have been continuously ringing off the hook, and orders are stacking up - please give us a call at 237-2539, if you cant get through - leave a message, and we will call you back, Or you can e-mail us at info@grantstreetgrocery - and we will reply back to confirm your order. *As for Gegis sides that you may have heard about, or if you read our advertisement in the paper, unfortunately, Gegi came down w/ an ailment and will be unable to fulfill orders for this Thanksgiving. We sincerely apologize, but fortunately, life does happen :) *Home made pies from Nick at The Flour Bin on 1st Street (where First Street Bakers used to be) will be available at our store Wednesday morning - No reservations, first come, first serve. The flavors are: Pumpkin, Apple, Pecan, Blueberry, Strawberry Rhubarb, Chocolate Cream, & Lemon Cream. Taste the difference...these are not factory, mass-made desserts, or shipped frozen...We love Local :) * I have included pictures of our Holitrays as we like to call them. If you are interested in purchasing a tray, please contact us. A 12 hr advanced notice is appreciated as these can be time consuming, as lots of detail and dedication are placed into these. The tray pictured is priced at $115 to give you an example. Our Holitrays start at a minimum of $50.00. We have everything from domestic cheese to imported cheese - priced from 8.99/lb to 39.99lb cheese. The same goes with the salami. I usually like to know a head count, and what price at or after $50.00 you would like me to work with. I will have pre-made Holitrays out for sale starting tomorrow if you would like to come by, peruse, maybe purchase one if you like, or put in an order. If you have a special tray at home, you are welcome to bring it in and I can build on that one. Not a turkey lover?
