Good Morning!!! COME JOIN THE PARADE ... READ ... READ ... READ ... and ACT .. Happy NEW YEAR!!!!! It’s like the last rehearsal before Championships. When i talk to the kids .. perhaps you were one of them, its a time of celebration. IF … you did all you can do, and IF, you have no regrets …. all that’s left is that one final performance. You do not control the opinion of judges, but you control who you are, what you think, and what you feel. And when one gives it all they have, there is really nothing left to do. Therefore … it is a definite moment of celebration. So … let’s have party. We worked hard this year. We ha a great corps, and I will tell you what — we have a pretty good 2015 corps; I can tell you that right now!!!!! But, there is some unfinished business. We still have this final campaign !! We still need your help. We still need you to push us out not the field one more time in 2014. Friends, first of all … Best wishes to you and your family for the best life has to offer in 2015. And thank you for your support, and for the kindness you have shown in assisting the Cadets along the road to continued excellence. Whether a ticket buyer, an alumnus, a fan, or a cherished donor over the past few years, you have been a part of the Cadets’ never ending effort to be the very best we can be. And without you, I do not exaggerate the point … we would not be here. So today, the last day of the 2014. we stand at the end of a campaign, still $10,000 or so away from our goal. And today, I am asking you to get on line …. yea.org/donate and make your donation as soon as possible. Remember we have a friend I have convinced to kick in $5000.00 but only if we make the $50K goal. And today, we are at $39,400. ( I did not see what came in overnight) You know what this program does for kids. You have seen the videos. Where else do you find young people willing to work from 8 am — 9 pm 30 days in a row … 30 days in a row …. just to prepare for the summer? Where else do you fin folks who smile and laugh rehearsing in 97 degrees. Where else do you see crazy folks willing to sleep in a bus and who the heck would ever put up with me ??? for days, and weeks and now 36 years. These kids are SAINTS !!! Please give us a hand today, And maybe forward this e mail to a friend. Let them know what the Cadets mean to you … and maybe they will give a year end gift. AND yes indeed, it is Tax Deductible!!!
