Good Morning Yall! 18 degrees here again this morning and the the river has froze up over night. The ice was still moving yesterday but now is solid and at a stand still. Not smooth enough to ice skate on so Ill have to ride my bicycle across the mile long bridge to the YMCA gym which is right at the end of bridge on the Harrisburg side. Night before last the bridge lane going into Harrisburg was shut down for about two hours, and the cars had to be detoured by our house. It was so cold I didnt go out and see what was going on, and thought it would be on the news, but nothing was on about it. I heard sirens so it probable was a wreck on the bridge. Maybe someone was going to jump, it has happen before, a lady up the street just walked out on the bridge and jumped off one day. Someone saw her jump and called for help and they got her out and saved her. Can you even think about jumping in that cold water? Wow! Thought for the day: Keep a cool head and a warm heart.
