Good Morning everyone; I received such a great response from the readers on the first synopsis, I thought I might give you snippets from time to time. Here is Part 2 of the Synopsis. Part 2 The first tale of Matt meeting Mara plays out against the backdrop of a second larger geopolitical drama. Israel is convinced that Iran is about to test a nuclear weapon, and has given the command to bomb the Qom Nuclear Research Facility without U.S. support. They have a temporary alliance with Saudi Arabia to overfly their territory on the way to carrying out their attack. Once the attack is launched, Saudi Arabia betrays Israel by notifying Iran that their jets are on the way; the U.S. finds out, and persuades Israel to call off the attack. However a renegade flight continues the attack, convinced that the element of surprise and the limited stealth capabilities of their jets will be sufficient; however the attack fails, and all 8 jets are downed.
