Good News: We will have the results to Gabriellas NeuroPsych eval within the week. This week, they focused on her Cognitive and Intelligence Testing. She has already had a Psychological Evaluation done back in April which tested her for Autism Spectrum, and then prior to that with Dr. Jane Holan in January for all her mental health conditions, as well as her treatment with Crossroads, so a repeat of this was not needed. I am curious to see what the results show for her Intelligence Testing and Cognitive Testing. Bad News: Remember how I was excited that Gabriellas school was small and her principal was all for the students, and getting to know each of them and knows them by name? Well, that principal has moved onto a new position, and Gabbys school has been assigned a new principal. Im more nervous about her starting school now, because I had met with the previous principal and he understood the context of Gabriellas conditions, and her issues and how they can/will affect her. I might be writing this new principal a letter asking to meet with her to explain this sort of stuff. Indifferent News: The NeuroPsych team did state that I should continue to push for an IEP. They also stated Gabriella has a great team of medical professionals helping her out, and that her case is complex
