Good Saturday morning! :) I wanted to take a minute to remind you of a few things: * if you are getting too sore and your form is starting to suffer, take a break!! Our goal was to provide you with 31 days of new push-up ideas, and we definitely dont want anyone overdoing it and getting hurt. So train smart yall! ;) * speaking of FORM....it really is interesting to see yourself from a new perspective, isnt it?! If you have not video taped yourself yet, I encourage you to do so. Even if you dont share it with the group. Im happy that a few of you have noticed one of the most common mistakes with form - and that is keeping a neutral spine & neck during the push-up. Many people tend to lower their face to the ground, like you are trying to touch your nose to the floor. Instead, think of lowering your CHEST to the floor while keeping your entire spice in line (including cervical). ONE other pointer on form, is watch your hips. Are they too high? Are they dropping down too low and causing your lower back to arch? VIDEO tape yourself and take a look :) (PS- Meghan and I are both certified personal trainers, so please reach out to us if you have any specific questions about this!)
