Good Saturday morning from beautiful Davie Fl. Happy Labor Day weekend to all. We are getting ready for a big fruit sale this weekend at the grove. We have beautiful fresh picked Biew Kiew Longans @ $3lb, If you love lychees and missed out with the poor crop this year, this is the next best thing you can get! We have a great selection of superior Avocados this weekend, varieties include: Russell, Catalina, Hialeah Red, and Beta. Jakfruit, Starfruit, Dragon Fruit, Sugar Apples will also be available. So stop on by and get some of these fantastic fruit. On another note, I received a worrisome call from the Mayor of Davie that a Oriental Fruit Fly was found by the Dept of agriculture at Heritage Park in Plantation. Lets all hope this is an isolated event, the dept of agriculture will be setting traps throughout the area to see if there is any threat, this could lead to a area quarantine, lets hope that that doesnt occur. We have some great trees in inventory and if there is anything you are looking for, you can bet that we have it.
