Good day today. Sunshine, not too much wind and I had a big sleep in, which is unusual for me. The girls were a big help today, we started putting in the second layer of insulation in the gable end. Super insulate gables, r value up around R8, batts, sisilation, air gap, 50 mm air sealed polystyrene, air gap, ply, and then cladding. Since the straw walls are about R30 it seemed crazy to install normal 90mm stud walls and r2 bats only. Just a little bit more work for a lot more r value. Also stripped the form work off the kitchen...looks awsome!
