Good evening WIL! Tonight lets talk about one sentence in the WIL about. This group gives back in a small way to the dogs and we hope to inspire others to do the same. Inspire others - the obvious is that as a group we hope to inspire those that visit our face book page and web site to become involved either through WIL or anyway their talents allow them to aid in the dog/animal over population problem. This sentence means more than the obvious. To date two different WIL members have inquired about information to start a similar group on a much smaller level to help their local shelter. Of course the answer was YES!!! What can we do to help you get started? Shared information and encouragement and off they went. Many current WIL members do the same thing all on their own. Making blankets and other items for a local group, rescue, shelter, friends and family. YOU the WIL family have proven what a group can do to help rescued dogs all over the country. but its still impressive what a small group of 2-3 can do for a local shelter. Hopes and dreams. Sometimes during a campaign for a rescue group a follower or two of that rescue may join the WIL family. The hope of WIL is that some of those inspired others are a support group, volunteers, a foster or even the Dir. of the rescue themselves start tying knots, sewing, or knitting blankets. There by copying the WIL model and develop a blanket family of their own. Now that would truly be JOB DONE and move on to the next rescue.
