Good governance is an important factor in developing deuterium as a major source of alternative fuel. But many people are still skeptical because major oil companies (like Petron, Shell, and Caltex just to name the few) will for sure put-up huge lobby funds to discourage the development of deuterium as alternative to gas because plain and simple- it will run smack to their main business interest of selling petroleum based products. This is not new actually, but I am not surprised that up to now, it seems to be a myth up to this time.
