The two charged in the police pursuit that included the fatal shooting of SAPD Officer Robert Deckard will face trial on capital murder and other charges, but will be in several hearings through 2015 with trial expected in the early part of 2016. They face the possibility of the death penalty or life in prison. Congressman Henry Cuellar will be in Floresville this afternoon to present recognition to the County Judge, Marvin Quinney, and to congratulate a Vietnam War veteran on belated award of medals from that conflict. A Floresville accident killed a motivational speaker and cancer survivor and the town of Elmendorf is contemplating some annexations in connection with the Halliburton facility being built there.
