Good morning. I have a stuffy nose. Yesterday a calendar from rosie. arrived from Germany. It is a charity gift that donations help the cleanup in Regensburg after the bad flooding that occurred earlier this year. Throughout, Rosie placed sticky markers on my favorite places to visit. The Wurtskuche had only the tip of its roof showing - it is a small bldg but still sad. Her old apartment was ok (where I would stay on the Europakanal). She also put stickies pointing out the building cranes that ruin the ambience of the medevil city but we always laugh about (German engineering was so far ahead of its time to have these specific pieces of machinery in the 1500s - and McDonalds too). And she pointed out the island where the Medevil Fest was when I first visited. Ah, always memories. Anyway, the city of Regensburg has been in existance since around year 1000 (founded by Aurelius). It has gone through floods and wars and has kept on going. Im going back when I can. I miss Rosie and my adopted city.
